Play Week East

Play Week East returns to Kutztown University in beautiful rural Pennsylvania Dutch country. The quaint borough of Kutztown is about 20 minutes west of Allentown and is rich in history. It has the friendly atmosphere of a small town with many shops for visitors on Main Street, including a popular micro-brewery that has been serving customers for years.

 The well-groomed campus of the university is an easy walk from town. Accommodations are in private rooms within comfortable four-bedroom suites, each with two full baths, a kitchen, and a living room, where most coaching takes place. The modern dining hall offers a wide selection of food, served cafeteria-style. Our concerts will take place in the Georgian Room, a gorgeous, resonant, all-wood room within the original college building, dating from the 19th century. It houses a beautiful Steinway grand piano. All facilities are air-conditioned.

Kutztown is a 2 hour drive from New York City, 1¼ hours from Philadelphia, and is easily accessible by bus from both cities. It is a 25 minute ride from the Lehigh Valley International Airport.

Fees:

• Tuition, room, and meals: $825 (single within a suite)
• Tuition for commuters: $550; includes lunch and dinner.
• Room and board for guest/spouse: $460.

A deposit of $200 is required upon registration, and is generally not refundable after May 15. Full payment is due by May 15 to receive assignments. A $25 discount is applied if full payment is made at the time of registration.
