After a five-year hiatus, we are pleased to reintroduce weekend workshops with our Play Weekend at the lovely St. Francis Center for Renewal, nestled on the outskirts of Bethlehem, PA.  Its 108 acres of rolling hills, bounded by Monacacy Creek, offer a setting of natural beauty with wide open spaces for walking. The Renewal Center is located in a spacious three-story building, with air-conditioning, an elevator, 34 bedrooms, conference rooms for playing, a dining room, and a large kitchenette for coffee breaks.

Bethlehem is 1¼ hours from Philadelphia and 1½ hours from New York City.  A bus station with service from both cities is nearby, and the Lehigh Valley Airport is a 10-minute drive away.

Schedule
Friday – 7:30 pm: Introduction; 8:00-10:15 pm: playing session
Saturday – 9:00-11:45 am, 2:00-4:15 pm: playing sessions; 8:00 pm: faculty concert
Sunday – 9:00-11:45 am, 1:00-3:15 pm: playing session; 3:30 pm: participant recital

Play Weekend Bethlehem Fees:

  • Tuition, private room & meals: $350
  • Tuition for commuters: $260 (includes lunches and dinners)

  • Guest/spouse room & board: $150

Payment in full is due by April 21. Musical assignments will be made two to three weeks before the workshop.
