Play Week West

New Venue this year!

We are delighted to announce that our new home for Play Week West will be the University of Denver, whose campus is known for its beautiful landscapes and stunning architecture. With 300 days of sunshine a year, the majestic Rocky Mountains will almost always be in view and are only a short car ride away.  Downtown Denver, with its first-class museums, shopping, and fine restaurants, is just a 10-minute ride from campus by light rail. The city’s airport is a hub for several major airlines. 

We will be housed in a spacious, modern dormitory built in 2006.  The accommodations will be in four-bedroom suites with kitchens, bathrooms, and large living rooms, perfectly suited for group playing. Meals will be served together in the pleasant, sunny dining room in the building right next door. For cellists flying in from out of town who cannot bring their instruments, we will assist in locating ones to rent or borrow locally.

Costs:

• Tuition and room and board: $950
• Tuition for commuters: $575 (includes lunch and dinner)
• Room for guest/spouse: $495

A deposit of $200 is required upon registration and is generally not refundable after May 29. Full payment is due by May 29 to receive assignments. A $25 discount is applied if full payment is made at the time of registration.
